I have a large German Shepherd mix who regularly stomps through my garden and drags the dirt and mud back into the house with him. He also runs alongside me on my bike, which similarly results in some very dirty paws. These paw covers work great and surprisingly hold up well under normal everyday use. I did try running my dog with his boots and was pleased to see that they stayed on and held up until the very end of the exercise, at which time his nails began poking through the rubber.
My only complaint is that it is fairly difficult to put the boots onto my dog's paws. It's something like putting a rubberized swim cap on your head, only the dog is far less patient with it.
