We have bought about 10 different types of cages...sadly they all failed. We even ended up having to break open the wall to get a rat out because she was able to break the bars off her cage and climb right out....then, we tried this cage. We were all kinds of unsure about it...the first one we purchased AT petco and paid $100 for it.....but it ended up working so fabulously...that we bought another one! We had all girl rats....however one was pregnant when we bought her and we needed the additional cage.

Not only do I recommend this product...but I recommend that you buy it through Amazon because we paid less than half of what we would have paid in the store!!!
