I bought this for my medium/small completely black dog which I walk nightly with much time spent off the leash (with no sidewalk and reckless drivers lurking here in Arkansas). I got exactly what I was expecting. the dog vest is practical in the sense that it provides almost 360 degrees of reflection. the reflective surfaces are very reflective. I have not washed it yet though and do not know how much that will affect the reflective material. the way it fits the dog is exactly what i expected but it is a little bit small but that's probably because the previous products I have ordered for my dog were generally too big so this time I went for a size smaller than what I thought my dog really is.
