Buy Fashion Pet Classic Small Cable Dog Sweater, Cobalt Blue

I bought four of these sweaters for my dogs; two red and two blue. They are dachshunds one is 8lbs (size small) and one is 14lbs (size medium.) The sizing is more for the length of the sweater than the circumference of their chest/belly.

Pros
+cute
+rich color with contrasting arms and neck edge
+has an opening on the back for a harness

Cons
-Poorly constructed (my medium sized dog's sweater ripped in the arm after the first use and no activity - she has a heart condition, physical activity is not even possible)
-back leg straps - this may be a positive for some, but I prefer not to have the back straps, they always seem to get tangled in them
-does not wash up nicely - material pilled even after being washed gently with Woolite

I had two other of these sweaters on back-order, but I immediatly cancelled them as it was a waste of money. I would not recommend these sweaters.

I bought these sweaters for my dachshunds and they fit their long bodies very nicely. They are a nice rich color with contrasting neck and arm holes. Conveniently, they have an opening on the back for harnesses.

I would love to have given these sweaters 5 stars and ordered more (my dogs love to stay warm during the cold high-desert winters!) But after only one use the arm ripped out of the sweater. There wasn't any exercise orplaying going on - just normal dog activity around the house. On one side almost the whole arm-hole is coming apart from the rest of the sweater.

I had to cancel the sweater that I had back-ordered because I would rather pay a little more and have a sweater that at least made it to the wash before having to throw it away! The other sweater seems to be holding up okay. The material pilled up quite a bit after washing, but still wearable. So I am 1/2 - not bad but not great.
