I did notice that my dog wasn't drinking as much water as he usually does during a hot day, but his heat tolerance still seemed quite low despite having soaked and frozen the bandanna before putting it on him. He was unusually active during the first 10 minutes outside, but after that he was back to lounging in the shade as is his norm. The bandanna was an uncomfortable fit and the bottom half never really seems to make contact with his neck. The product doesn't come with any instructions so you have to look on Amazon to find out how to use it. While handling the bandanna crystals were leaking out and it took over 3 days to air dry.
