We have a wonderful rescue Mastiff with only three legs (a previous owner put him in a truck bed without tying him in, and you can guess what happened). Our gentle giant is a very hot dog, and he pants all the time. We get worried about him when we go for his beloved walks - he just gets *and stays* so hot for so long. So, we ordered this bandana, and it has been WONDERFUL. Our big guy is still hot, but not nearly as hot or for as long. The size large barely fits his 25" neck, so I'm crafting a little velcro extension - no big deal. One thing I do want to mention is something that another reviewer brought up: the bandana takes a long time to dry, and even after three days in the *hot* garden window of our desert home, it still wasn't completely dry...and is starting to smell. This bandana works so well for us that we'll use it until we can't anymore, and then we'll still keep buying them - we just love it. This product would be a 5-star for us except for this issue, and I understand that this might be a deal breaker for some, but just not for us and our favorite pup.
