First off the title says flame with a picture of the black doggles, it is indeed black. Once you get it fitted correctly, it stays on pretty well. My dog hasn't really fussed about it with it on and seems to somewhat gotten used to it pretty quickly. Depends on the dog though, other dogs may take longer. I usually put it on when I'm taking him on walks or a car ride so he's usually too preoccupied to bother with them. The main reason I got these is to protect his eyes while I'm driving since like most dogs, wants to stick their head and dangle their tongue out the window while slobbering all over the side of the car.
