I have an Australian Cattle Dog who I need to walk every day. When there's alot of snow, we would have to make several stops to remove packed snow from her paws. With these boots I don't have to worry about the packed snow, the cold or the salt on sidewalks/streets. She wasn't too sure about them the first time I put them on but now she doesn't mind them at all. My advice would be to put the boots on and immediately go outside and start walking.
