I purchased this life vest over the summer for my German Shepherd. My parents were keeping her for 2 weeks and they live right on the lake. My dog quickly got used to the vest and began to love it! She hasn't seemed to figure out if she can float without moving her paws, but she doesn't get as exhausted so quickly as without one. She can swim for hours it seems. This is a great vest, and the covered part of the back and underbelly of my dog's fur didn't even get totally wet (it was damp).
